This role, reporting to the Leaders, will be accountable for total sales and growth of the company’s products and services and driving the development of new opportunities.

Duties and Responsibility

  • Build up a portfolio of new customers using cold calling and prospecting
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Close sales and direct clients through the sign up and implementation steps
  • Assist in roadmap planning, staff training, and development
  • Sets clear objectives for the team
  • New Business and Territory development including customer expansion and development of existing key account base and product portfolio
  • Become a trusted business advisor to the client
  • Identify opportunities for brand exposure
  • Build continued commercial relationships with clients
  • Provide mentorship, knowledge-sharing and direction to the team
  • Spending lots of time on the road and traveling will be required.
  • Selling products and services to corporate institutions, small businesses and individuals etc.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Business Development specialist
  • Background in IT Services industry in required
  • Built up a portfolio of new customers using cold calling and prospecting
  • Translates strategic intent of the business into practical value adding solutions through bigger picture thinking and optimizing resources, in a time frame of around 3 months to 1 year
  • Builds relationships and networks with external stakeholders and potential alliances to maximize lead 
  • Good presentation skills
  • Proposal writing
  • Proven track record in sales – digital sales would be advantageous
  • Able to demonstrate sales call structure techniques and cold calling
  • Proven success in working towards targets
  • Always aiming to exceed expectations and surprise people with your ability
  • Strong sales background

  • Clear credit and criminal record
